About The Position

The Senior Accountant will execute month-end close activities, support special projects, perform account reconciliations and variance analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves identifying and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, and controls, and adapting to evolving priorities in a collaborative team environment. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years of public accounting experience and 1+ years in industry, preferably in a complex, multi-entity environment. Strong technical accounting skills, with a focus on process optimization and scalability, are essential. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborative, fast-paced teams and adapt to a high-energy workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience
  • 1+ years in industry, preferably in a complex, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with a focus on process optimization and scalability.
  • Proven ability to excel in collaborative, fast-paced teams and adapt to a high-energy workplace.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of finance/accounting systems and designing processes and procedures
  • Accounting workpaper design and documentation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor team members.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to perform accounting related tasks at a high level
  • Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to engage and foster strong partnerships with the leaders and team members across HOPCo.

  • Support special projects, process optimizations, and system enhancements to maintain scalable operations.
  • Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure financial accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes and enhance operational accuracy.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and controls with practical, innovative solutions.
  • Adapt to evolving priorities while contributing positive energy to a collaborative team environment.
