Position Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for daily accounting activities, accounts payable and receivable, payroll reconciliations, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their accounting career within a growing organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee AP, AR, and payroll reconciliations.
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Perform financial analysis and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
- Assist with multi-entity accounting and consolidation activities.
