About The Position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to join our Payroll team. In this key role, you will serve as the organization's subject matter expert for payroll accounting and the Infor GHR payroll system, ensuring accurate payroll processing, financial reporting, account reconciliations, provider compensation accounting, benefit accounting, and strong internal financial controls. Working closely with Accounting, Human Resources, Finance leadership, and operational teams, you will play an essential role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting month-end close activities, preparing for audits, analyzing financial data, and driving continuous process improvements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible accounting experience required.
  • Experience supporting payroll administration, payroll accounting, or payroll reconciliation functions required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end close activities required.
  • Experience performing financial analysis, variance analysis, and budget support required.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal control practices required.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience with Infor GHR, Infor ERP, or comparable enterprise financial systems preferred.
  • Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
  • Provider compensation experience preferred.
  • Payroll administration or payroll accounting experience preferred.
