Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience managing complex reconciliations and close activities
• Advanced Excel skills

Nice To Haves

• CPA, CPA-track, or public accounting experience highly preferred
• Corporate accounting within mid-sized or large organizations
• Private equity-backed, multi-entity, or rapidly growing businesses
• ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, process improvements, or system implementations
• Successful candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented professionals who can dig into the numbers while maintaining a broader business perspective.
• They are comfortable working independently, solving problems, and contributing immediately in environments where accuracy, accountability, and adaptability are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end and year-end close activities
• Perform account reconciliations, including general ledger, bank, and balance sheet accounts
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
• Support audits and coordinate requests from external auditors
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Partner with finance and operational leaders to improve accounting processes
• Assist with special projects, system implementations, and process improvements
