We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting out in front of customers, understanding their facilities and business needs, staying connected, and turning strong relationships into long-term partnerships. Requirements
- Experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, building services, construction, or a related industry
- A proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Experience managing accounts and developing new business
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills
- The ability to understand customer needs and turn them into practical solutions
- A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities
- Strong organizational and CRM skills
- Professionalism without being stuffy
- The ability to work collaboratively with operations and field teams
- A reputation for doing what you say you’re going to do

Responsibilities
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned accounts
- Learn your customers’ facilities, priorities, challenges, and future needs
- Identify opportunities for service, repairs, replacements, upgrades, projects, and other HVAC/mechanical solutions
- Develop new business while expanding relationships within existing accounts
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, recommendations, and solutions
- Follow opportunities from the first conversation through completion
- Collaborate closely with Service, Operations, Estimating, Sales, and Accounting
- Stay connected with customers after the sale to ensure expectations are being met
- Help resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, proposal, and follow-up information
- Monitor account activity and stay ahead of open items
- Participate in customer meetings, networking events, industry events, and other business-development opportunities
- Represent HVH in a way that makes customers want to work with us again
