Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five or more years’ experience in client services in the healthcare industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate with management as effectively as with subordinates
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task effectively
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of the team
  • Ability to anticipate and understand systems interactions
  • Must be detailed, analytical and accurate
  • Must have mentorship ability
  • Recognize the need for follow-thru and follow-up
  • Ability to work within specified timeframe and meet deadlines
  • Recognize and maintain confidentiality of work materials as appropriate

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and managing the plan implementation for new clients.
  • Handling the overall servicing of account issues for existing clients.
  • Coordinating plan implementation for new clients by producing educational materials, conducting benefit meetings, and designing and communicating plan design.
  • Acting as the primary contact for group representatives and brokers.
  • Working closely with internal staff to communicate service issues, coordinate plan building design, resolve claim payment issues, provide general account service, and support the Sales Manager/Director.
  • Conducting service meetings with each client, requiring significant travel.
  • Coordinating the implementation of new groups and overall servicing of account issues for existing clients and brokers.
  • Conducting benefit meetings, producing educational materials, and resolving claims/service issues.
  • Taking a lead mentor role in the training of new team members.
  • Managing accounts with >150 employee lives.
  • Communicating with internal staff on plan design changes, renewal changes, or other relevant information to ensure the plan runs smoothly for each client.
  • Developing all employee/employer materials.
  • Preparing reports requested by employers/brokers.
  • Assisting clients/brokers with analysis on reports.
  • Notifying and assisting clients/brokers with compliance and reporting requirements with respect to benefit plans federal mandates etc.
