About The Position

The Senior Account Manager is the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for exceeding expectations regarding agreed-upon Statements of Work (SOW). This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance client needs and company objectives. Building trust and credibility with clients is essential, as is communicating account status to superiors and peers, alongside daily client interaction. The role operates within the context of the patient journey, requiring compassion, sensitivity, and the ability to integrate patient/caregiver experiences into client strategies and solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of pharma or healthcare advertising experience.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Strong conceptual skills.
  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with a team.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to serve in a driving role during client meetings (speaking, presenting, sharing information).
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Successfully complete and adhere to training courses on Snow Policies and Procedures, HIPAA (Privacy Rule, Security Rule, Sunshine Act reporting), Adverse Event (AE) Reporting, and FDA/FTC promotional requirements for pharmaceuticals.
  • Ability to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Report to and assist the Account Director.
  • Interface directly with clients to maintain open and frequent communication.
  • Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Interact with all team members to ensure accuracy of information exchange and smooth workflow.
  • Document all marketing projects and complete summary reports and analyses.
  • Keep Account Directors and VPs informed of key account issues.
  • Identify and implement methods to improve operations, processes, efficiency, and client service.
  • Develop methods for increased and effective utilization of the Patient Ambassador® model.
  • Thoroughly understand the disease category, brand strategy, product attributes, competitors, and market issues for representative brands.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, healthcare professionals, and vendors professionally.
  • Attend and contribute to internal staff meetings.
  • Promote teamwork through collaboration and support of colleagues.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to foster a harmonious environment.
  • Manage and track individual projects to ensure completion aligns with timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records, including contact reports, status reports, and dashboards.
  • Support the implementation of promotional programs.
  • Represent the organization at community functions and meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
