About The Position

The Sales Account Manager position for Presidio is responsible for engaging with customers and technology partners to drive business growth. You will focus on nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities. A key part of your success will be your ability to manage your accounts with operational efficiency, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions and strong account management practices. As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll have the autonomy, support, and portfolio to win big deals, build lasting client partnerships, and directly impact your earnings and career trajectory. You’ll work alongside top engineers, architects, and partners across cloud, security, networking, and data—giving you the credibility and capabilities to compete and win in complex enterprise environments. Requirements

  • 7+ years of success in enterprise sales, account management, or IT solutions
  • A consistent track record of exceeding quota in a competitive environment
  • High-Energy towards achieving goals
  • Proven new business development experience to complement current book
  • Ability to sell consultatively and connect technology to business outcomes
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals
  • Confidence building relationships at the executive level

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market customers
  • Build trusted, executive-level relationships that position you as a go-to advisor
  • Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Presidio’s full solutions portfolio
  • Develop and execute account strategies that translate into measurable revenue growth
  • Proactively hunt and close net-new logo opportunities
  • Build a strong pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, and partner alignment
  • Lead high-impact discovery conversations that uncover business pain and align to outcomes
  • Differentiate Presidio in competitive deals by connecting technology to real business value
  • Lead full sales cycles—from discovery through negotiation and close
  • Partner with technical teams to craft tailored, outcome-driven solutions
  • Navigate complex buying groups and remove obstacles to accelerate deals
