Senior Account Executive - Grata
About The Position
Grata for Datasite is the leading private market dealmaking platform. We make it easy to find, research, and engage with private companies. Our platform has the most comprehensive, accurate, and searchable proprietary data on private companies, their financials, and their owners. We help leading investors (PE/growth), investment bankers, management consultants, and corporate development teams discover and win more deals. Grata has over 1,000 customers and has been widely recognized as the market leader by G2, PE Wire, and more. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team. Grata is a hybrid company, which means our employees work from our NYC office (Columbus Circle) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a high-growth environment
- Deep familiarity or experience selling into Private Equity, M&A, or Investment Banking
- Proven success in closing deals, self-sourcing, and independently and managing a healthy pipeline
- Strong understanding of short-cycle, high-velocity sales as well as longer more complex cycles
- You lead by example and have an elevated standard of excellence for yourself and those around you
- Excellent communicator, listener, and cross-functional collaborator
- You’re thoughtful, competitive, coachable, and genuinely enjoy helping others succeed
- Comfortable with a hybrid office culture—we’re collaborative, in-person first, and based in a beautiful office in Columbus Circle
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from sourcing to close, with autonomy to run your day and pipeline like a business
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive-level stakeholders in the financial services space
- Leverage a high-velocity sales motion with short sales cycles to consistently hit and exceed targets
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success to drive feedback and refine GTM strategy
- Mentor junior sales team members, sharing best practices and helping elevate team performance
- Utilize sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or similar to manage pipeline, outreach, and insights
