About The Position

Troveo is developing a next-generation data platform for training AI models, boasting the world's largest library of AI training data, including millions of hours of audio and video. Their end-to-end data pipeline connects creators, rights holders, and AI research labs, facilitating scalable, compliant, and innovative data utilization for AI applications and model development. As an early-stage, high-growth company, Troveo collaborates with some of the most advanced AI teams globally. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery to deal structuring and closing. This role involves sourcing and developing new business opportunities across AI labs, startups, and enterprise buyers. It is a hands-on position that requires regular in-person interactions with current and prospective customers through 1:1 meetings and industry gatherings. Success in the first year will be primarily measured by execution, momentum, and the closing or expansion of deals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development.
  • Ability to travel frequently to attend industry events and meetings with current and prospective customers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the ability to translate evolving AI and data needs into durable, trusted partnerships.
  • Ability to execute and close complex deals in lean environments.
  • Strong bias to action and a hands-on mindset: comfortable doing the work yourself while building toward scalable systems.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity and structure open-ended customer needs into clear plans.
  • Experience selling or supporting technical products, ideally in AI, data, SaaS, or infrastructure-adjacent environments.

  • Experience or familiarity with data licensing or data labeling.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, pipeline building, and new customer acquisition.
  • Serve as a credible partner to AI, data, and research leaders navigating evolving model development and data requirements.
  • Develop deep, trusted relationships with executive, technical, and operational stakeholders at customer organizations.
  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including larger datasets, repeat engagements, and multi-year partnerships.
  • Translate customer feedback and emerging needs into structured insights that inform product roadmap and platform evolution.
  • Ensure that customer commitments are tracked, risks are surfaced early, and delivery expectations remain aligned.
