About The Position

The Senior Account Executive will develop and execute individual account strategies in conjunction with the General Manager, focusing on retention and growth of top revenue-generating customers by expanding lanes to maximize wallet share. This role involves problem-solving operational challenges, qualifying sales leads, prospecting new customers, and expanding market share, particularly where Brink’s lacks a strong presence. The individual will build relationships through networking, respond to RFPs, and serve as a day-to-day contact for customers while coordinating activities with the global team and adhering to all relevant legislation and procedures. Requirements

  • Proven track record of success selling logistics and freight forwarding services
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in field sales in logistics/freight forwarding preferred or min 2-3 years sales experience and operational experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in meeting or exceeding business goals, including revenue targets, etc. in similar business or with similar business dynamics, i.e. managing and developing senior relationships, managing across multiple functions, departments and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Individual account strategies in conjunction with the General Manager to execute them at the highest service standards and to the full satisfaction of our customers.
  • Focus on retention and growth of top revenue-generating customers; expand lanes to maximize wallet share
  • Problem-solve operational challenges internally and externally
  • Qualify all sales leads and prospecting efforts to pursue potential new customers for Brink’s services, including assessing potential risk and exposure to the company.
  • Expand market share where Brink’s does not have a strong presence; develop relationships through networking
  • Respond to RFP’s, follow up on offers submitted to clients and other Brink’s stations.
  • Help customers as a day-to-day contact while using the appropriate escalation channels as matters arise.
  • Ensure activities are coordinated with the global team.
  • Adherence to local, national, and international legislation and procedures (Customs, Compliance, Money laundering etc.).
  • Build, foster and manage relationships with 20-50 top clients
  • Utilize the CRM to provide global visibility to activity.
  • Monitor deals and agreements with customers, affiliates, and subcontractors, ensuring adequate margins, compliance with company procedures.
  • Communicate with affiliates worldwide regarding opportunities with common international clients.
  • Manage all aspects of contract maintenance and renewal based on the terms of the agreements; improve the terms of agreement to meet specific Brink’s needs when renewing contracts, particularly when profitability can favorably be impacted; assure that rate increases are administered in a timely and professional manner
