About The Position

ClearRisk is a rapidly scaling SaaS company. We are searching for a driven individual to join our sales team as a Senior Account Executive. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the ideal candidate is an entrepreneur at heart, has a passion for building external relationships, driving sales and all the benefits and challenges that go along with that! ClearRisk empowers our customers by optimizing risk and improving safety for their employees and the general public. We keep people from harm and help our customers be more successful. Our cloud-based claims and risk management solutions provide customers with a suite of tools and insights built for industries such as municipalities, utilities, real estate/property groups, manufacturers, retailers and more. Our solutions lower insurance and risk management costs while giving meaningful data insights that drive business growth. You’ll have strong team support and a proven, mature SaaS solution that’s currently in-use within over 350 organizations in North America providing documented results.

Requirements

Post-secondary education completed – ideally in marketing, business, economics, or technical field
At least 5 years of sales experience and can demonstrate knowledge of sales process, preferably with SaaS products and services
Majority of experience has been working upper mid-market/complex sales opportunities involving multiple decision makers and influencers
Worked as a member of a team where you’ve strived to consistently meet and exceed set targets
Excellent written and oral communication skills, meticulous, versatile, sense of responsibility, open-minded, team-spirited
Able to travel as required within the US and Canada
Driven individual who is motivated to build their career

Responsibilities

Hunt, grow, nurture and close new business opportunities
Work directly with ClearRisk’s BDR and Marketing team during the hand-off process from introductory meeting to Discovery
Collaborate with ClearRisk’s Director of Risk to partner on discovery meetings and uncover challenges and understand what success looks like for each prospect
Maintain excellent CRM hygiene: clean next steps, challenges to overcome, closing dates, forecasts and more
Perform product demonstrations, tying the prospects challenges to desirable success outcomes, clearly articulating process and workflow improvements before and after implementation
Build mutual action plans and guide prospects through their buying process, many of whom are buying software for the first time
Accountable for monthly, quarterly and annual pipeline and revenue targets
Own every aspect of the sales process and accountable for pipeline velocity targets and win rate
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts
Work with our Product Management Team to deliver feedback from new and prospective customers regarding desired functionalities and other features, especially those offered by competitors
Work with the Customer Success team in support (but not accountable for) post-sale engagement and upsell efforts
