About The Position

Forwood is a global organization focused on fatality prevention through its SaaS-based Critical Risk Management System. This system is transforming how organizations prevent serious incidents and fatalities in high-risk industries. The company is seeking a Senior Account Executive to establish and grow its presence in Italy and Southern Europe, focusing on new business acquisition. This role involves identifying, developing, and closing large enterprise SaaS opportunities with major organizations in high-risk environments, working closely with regional partners. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned enterprise sales professional capable of engaging at the executive level, shaping regional sales strategies, building networks, and advising on go-to-market approaches. Requirements

  • Proven experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions into complex, high-value organisations, ideally across high-risk industries such as mining, manufacturing, oil and gas, utilities, energy or construction.
  • A strong track record in new business development, including building pipeline, engaging senior decision-makers and closing large enterprise deals.
  • The ability to operate credibly at executive level, with strong presentation, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial maturity and strategic thinking, with the ability to understand customer priorities, shape value-led solutions and contribute to the regional go-to-market approach.
  • The confidence to work independently, move quickly, create a plan and execute without heavy direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate complex organisations, remove barriers and progress opportunities through long enterprise sales cycles.
  • The ability to quickly understand Forwood’s products, methodology and market positioning, and communicate our value proposition clearly and confidently.
  • Strong Italian communication skills, supported by good written and verbal English for effective collaboration with Forwood’s global team.
  • A strong understanding of market dynamics, including competitors, partners, sales channels and pricing models.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working with autonomy.
  • Commercially driven and strategic, with the discipline to meet targets, manage deadlines and take corrective action when required.
  • Confident building relationships, opening doors and creating momentum in a new market.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with partners, customers and geographically dispersed internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow Forwood’s enterprise sales presence across Italy and Southern Europe, helping shape a regional go-to-market approach for high-risk industries where fatality prevention technology can deliver meaningful operational impact.
  • Drive predominantly new business acquisition and revenue growth by identifying, developing and closing large-scale enterprise SaaS opportunities with major organisations in high-risk environments.
  • Tailor sales strategies to local customer needs, industry priorities, partner opportunities and market conditions.
  • Work closely with Forwood’s regional partners to nurture relationships within major organisations and engage senior decision-makers.
  • Build, manage and convert a high-value new business pipeline, ensuring activity, deal progression and revenue targets are achieved within agreed timeframes.
  • Lead executive-level sales engagement, including discovery, strategic account planning, proposals, presentations, negotiation and deal closure.
  • Position Forwood’s Critical Risk Management System as a life-saving SaaS solution for organisations seeking to prevent serious incidents and fatalities.
  • Partner with prospective customers to understand their priorities, operational risks and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, executives and industry influencers across the region.
