About The Position

As a Senior Account Executive at M+C Saatchi World Services in New York, you’ll play a central role in delivering high-impact communications campaigns focused on social change and complex global issues. Working closely with your Account Supervisor or Account Director, VP, you’ll support the full lifecycle of integrated communications projects — from shaping briefs and presentations to overseeing production and delivery. You’ll be a trusted “safe pair of hands,” ensuring work is delivered to the highest quality, on time and within budget. This is a role for someone confident and forward-leaning: comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, contributing to strategic discussions, and helping translate complex geopolitical and societal issues into clear, compelling communications. Due to the nature of this work and associated government contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Requirements

  • Must be a United States Citizen (required by government contract).
  • Must be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret or Top-Secret security clearance immediately upon employment.
  • Must be willing to submit to a rigorous federal background investigation, which includes an in-depth review of personal finances, criminal history, employment history, and drug use.
  • A degree in Politics, History, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
  • A practical understanding of business operations and agency processes, with experience working with production
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A strong interest in geopolitics and global affairs
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery. Oversee timelines, budgets, estimates, approvals, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Manage production with minimal oversight, spotting risks, scope changes, and smarter ways of working.
  • Elevate the work. Play an active role in shaping presentations and outputs. Help ensure every piece of work is on brief, insight-driven, and strategically sound.
  • Engage confidently with clients. Present clearly and articulately. Lead constructive discussions around feedback, filter and debrief thoughtfully, and push back where appropriate in a clear and solutions-focused way.
  • Champion strategy. Understand the broader strategic direction of your accounts and work closely with strategy and creative teams to shape briefs and outputs. Be confident discussing research, evaluation, audiences, and channel approaches.
  • Build strong relationships. Develop trusted relationships with clients and cross-agency teams. Represent creative and strategy perspectives effectively, and demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant regions, sectors, and current affairs.
  • Contribute to agency life. Support cross-agency collaboration, mentor more junior colleagues, and contribute positively to team culture. Take part in recruitment conversations and wider agency initiatives.
  • Manage up and down. Escalate issues appropriately, act as a reliable point of contact for production and delivery, and provide day-to-day leadership so senior team members can rely on you with confidence.
