Senior Account Executive, Sustainability & Agriculture
About The Position
Burson is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Account Executive with strong writing, visual content creation, and digital publishing experience to join their growing team. This role focuses on a global account centered around sustainable agriculture, supply chain traceability, and environmental metrics. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in sustainability, fashion retail, or supply chain communications, and a desire to produce creative, integrated work with measurable global impact. The team is fast-paced, collaborative, and committed to delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate is a curious self-starter, a strong writer, and a visual storyteller capable of transforming complex, data-driven sustainability concepts into accessible, humanized narratives for diverse audiences.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of communications/PR experience (agency experience highly preferred; in-house experience in a relevant sector also welcome).
- Prior experience or a demonstrated, active interest in sustainability, agriculture, fashion retail, corporate ESG, or supply chain logistics.
- Proven portfolio of writing for different audiences with distinct voices, showing an ability to make technical or data-heavy topics easy to understand.
- Hands-on experience and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint design).
- Hands-on experience and strong proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Hands-on experience and strong proficiency with digital CMS platforms (specifically WordPress).
- Hands-on experience and strong proficiency with social media management tools (specifically Sprout Social).
- A curious, proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, who thrives in a collaborative, team-first environment.

Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and maintain a variety of deliverables including member spotlights, educational one-pagers, FAQs, newsletter content, and website copy.
- Translate complex ideas into visually engaging PowerPoint presentations and collateral using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Adapt writing styles and tones to effectively engage diverse target audiences, from local growers to executive sustainability leaders at global fashion brands.
- Manage daily digital updates on platforms like WordPress and draft, schedule, and publish social media content via Sprout Social.
- Assist in organizing deliverables, content calendars, and project trackers to ensure the team meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate deep curiosity and a willingness to understand the technical details of sustainable farming, environmental footprints, and supply chain logistics to ensure content is scientifically credible and accessible.
