Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of general sales experience
  • Demonstrated successes in managing accounts
  • Achievements in developing account relations and strategic selling
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Intermediate level skill in Excel specifically

Responsibilities

  • Own the client relationship, managing all sales requirements for current and new projects.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and partners, serving as an expert on products and pricing.
  • Provide product suggestions for client and designer approval based on project needs.
  • Lead high-performing project/account teams to ensure flawless execution, maximize productivity, and exceed client expectations.
  • Develop strategy within existing accounts and drive new business efforts with existing and new Atmosphere customers.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand business needs and buying influences.
  • Develop and present Atmosphere capabilities, solutions, and services to clients.
  • Coordinate the process, quality, and content of client bids and RFPs.
  • Facilitate client requests for pricing, specifications, information, and other service requirements, including providing quotes, determining gross profits, negotiating pricing and terms, cost/benefit analysis, and reviewing finishes.
  • Research alternative products to value engineer projects or meet client timelines, including options from box retailers, custom fabricators, and online sources.
  • Stay current on furniture, workplace trends, and ancillary offerings from various manufacturers.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key designers, vendor reps, and manufacturers, and expand professional networks.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with clients, design firms, and internal support teams.
  • Engage teams to execute projects by conducting key meetings, establishing roles, and developing solutions.
  • Manage and document information within Atmosphere business systems.
  • Execute client projects when no Project Manager is assigned, including communicating critical information, coordinating order placement, supplier negotiations, and managing project completion.
  • Drive financial results to achieve annual financial plan targets.
  • Build, maintain, and advance a healthy pipeline of opportunities and maintain an accurate forecast.
  • Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and service delivery.
  • Proactively manage project risks and resolve escalations.
