About The Position

The Senior Account Executive (MSSP) - Chicago, will play a lead role in accelerating Horizon3’s revenues through Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP). The responsibility will involve establishing and nurturing relationships with targeted MSSP accounts to drive sales growth within a designated territory.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven success in cybersecurity technology sales
  • 8+ years of experience selling to or through MSSPs.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing joint services with MSSP partners that generate additional revenue streams.
  • Deep knowledge and relationships with strategic MSSPs in respective territories.
  • Expertise in managing channel relationships.
  • A history of consistently meeting quotas and utilizing solution-selling or target-account-selling techniques.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical challenges in the Networking and Security space from a business perspective.
  • Strong sales and relationship-building capabilities with a successful track record in negotiating and closing deals within the designated territory.
  • Experience selling to executive-level decision-makers.
  • Proficient in presenting technical solutions and business concepts clearly through demonstrations and proposals.
  • Self-driven, capable of problem-solving and operating with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment, with a hands-on, proactive attitude.
  • Seeking individuals with outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit and enable new MSSP partners to expand the business portfolio.
  • Collaborate with MSSP partners to develop and roll out new services built around Horizon3 NodeZero.
  • Drive broad MSSP customer adoption of NodeZero.
  • Assist in driving sales growth and new customer acquisition through partnerships with MSSPs.
  • Meet revenue and profitability goals by generating new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive joint business plan and sales strategy with MSSP partners.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and maintain detailed sales tracking and planning.
  • Lead MSSP partner engagements, overseeing daily operations and addressing inquiries.
  • Foster strong relationships with engineering and marketing teams to identify and resolve product-related issues, including quality, delivery, and design concerns.
  • Maintain a high level of activity to meet sales quotas and ensure pipelines are built to meet quarterly sales goals.
