About The Position

The Senior Account Executive – Audiovisual (AV) is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building long-term client relationships within assigned territories. This role leads the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, contract execution, and post-sale coordination. The Senior Account Executive – Audiovisual (AV) partners closely with clients to understand enterprise-level needs, budget constraints, and project goals, developing comprehensive technology integration solutions. This role collaborates with engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure successful delivery and exceptional client experience.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required;
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of consultative sales experience in audiovisual (AV)/IT or related technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AV/IT products, systems, and integration processes.
  • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive multiple concurrent opportunities to closure.
  • Experience managing enterprise or large-scale client accounts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and pursue high-value market opportunities.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational and territory management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts
  • Conduct prospecting and cold outreach efforts
  • Qualify leads and identify high-margin opportunities
  • Perform client needs assessments and site evaluations
  • Develop and present detailed proposals and scopes of work
  • Lead negotiations and close sales to meet or exceed assigned quotas
  • Oversee account activity including change orders and project coordination
  • Communicate project timelines and expectations to clients
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams
  • Support customer satisfaction throughout pre- and post-sale phases
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecast updates
