About The Position

BerlinRosen is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its Arts & Culture team. This role involves leading daily client relations, executing project deliverables, mentoring junior staff, and conceptualizing strategies, pitches, and media placements. The ideal candidate will anticipate client needs, assess team approaches, and collaborate with client leads and senior leaders to advance strategy. This position offers an opportunity to develop media relationships and expertise while working with clients shaping the arts and culture landscape. The role is based in the New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis, requiring three days per week in the office.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience working in communications in the arts and culture industry with a PR agency, media outlet or in-house communications team
• Understanding of the art world and a demonstrated personal interest in visual and performing arts
• Demonstrated relationships with reporters and strong news sense
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with varying levels of staff, clients, the media, etc.
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience working with a team to meet group objectives

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile client accounts
• Manage clients daily
• Engage with key reporters and editors
• Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, communications plans and media pitches
• Participate in business development opportunities
• Manage internal client teams and mentor junior staff
