About The Position

Works with Installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls for our commercial clients with access control, burglar and camera systems. Requires excellent communication skills, self-motivation, task-driven attitude, ability to apply “best practices” theory, strong problem-solving skills, ability to create in the field solutions, and ability to use hand and power tools. Some travel is required. The role involves developing and maintaining proficiency in access control, camera systems, and burglar systems.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience of Access Control - telephone entry units, proximity readers, RFID readers, barcord readers, magnetic locks, door strikes, egress devices, etc (DoorKing, ButterflyMX, Latch, Dormakaba, Kantech)
Minimum 5 years experience of CCTV - IP cameras, HD cameras, cabling, NVR setup, etc
Minimum 3 years experience of Burglar Systems - wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, set up monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Clean driving record and background check
Minimum of 2 years of field experience

Responsibilities

Complete access control, camera systems, burglar systems installs and setup, including running cable, installing equipment, programming and client training
