The Senior Academic Program Coordinator develops, coordinates and advises for engineering study abroad programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five years of experience coordinating study abroad programs.
  • Experience studying or working on site or abroad.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in a related field.
  • More than five years of experience working or studying abroad in and outside of Western Europe.
  • Experience working with faculty-led programs in a University environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in student development.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates faculty-lead programs including: Program development, budgeting and contract processing
  • Program promotion/recruiting
  • Program specific student advising and pre-departures and support throughout program
  • Faculty and TA advising and pre-departures, support during the program
  • Program assessment
  • Logistics and support coordination with onsite providers and/or onsite when needed
  • Assists office director and faculty with: Faculty program proposal/workshop
  • Pilot program development and reconnaissance site visits
  • Collaborate with team on various projects
  • Other related functions as assigned
