The Senior Academic Program Coordinator develops, coordinates and advises for engineering study abroad programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five years of experience coordinating study abroad programs.
- Experience studying or working on site or abroad.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Nice To Haves
- Masters in a related field.
- More than five years of experience working or studying abroad in and outside of Western Europe.
- Experience working with faculty-led programs in a University environment.
- Demonstrated interest in student development.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates faculty-lead programs including: Program development, budgeting and contract processing
- Program promotion/recruiting
- Program specific student advising and pre-departures and support throughout program
- Faculty and TA advising and pre-departures, support during the program
- Program assessment
- Logistics and support coordination with onsite providers and/or onsite when needed
- Assists office director and faculty with: Faculty program proposal/workshop
- Pilot program development and reconnaissance site visits
- Collaborate with team on various projects
- Other related functions as assigned
