About The Position
This role involves utilizing specialty databases to abstract patient data from electronic medical records for the application of medical registries. The Senior Abstractor will perform primary data abstraction duties for clinical measures and registries, ensuring high levels of abstraction accuracy and alignment with organizational quality standards. Additionally, the role requires identifying and communicating trends in clinical data to leadership.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 year of cardiovascular registry experience.
- At least 5 years of clinical cardiovascular experience (Cath Lab, CV Tech, etc)
- Experience working with Epic, Meditech, and/or Cerner.
