About The Position

As a Semiconductor Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing and testing of IC and other semiconductor devices. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining semiconductor equipment, troubleshooting and communicating issues, and ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of the production process. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Semiconductor Operations Manager, and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN office. In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of our IC Wafer Fab manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards and customer requirements. This is a weekend day shift position, Friday through Sunday. Note that training may occur on a different shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and protocol
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status)
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Electronics or a related field
  • Experience in semiconductor wafer processing
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment and processes
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned equipment and run required processes, supporting IC Wafer Fab
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Support the Honeywell Aerospace Operating System
  • Comply with all safety rules
  • Analyze data and production reports
  • Run qualifications and perform inspections to ensure product quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Record and report production data
