About The Position
The Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – Photo performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the Chandler Fab Photo equipment area, primarily maintaining photo and metrology toolsets. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems; completing scheduled maintenance and consumable changes; and carrying out other activities needed for the area’s success. The technician works with internal and external groups to meet safety, performance, and reliability requirements, completes documentation, and trains others. The position requires compressed shifts, with openings potentially available on either days or nights.
Requirements
- Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions.
- Solid understanding of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods, up to 12 hours.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- An AA, AS, or AAS in electronics or another industrial engineering-related discipline is preferred. Education combined with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
