About The Position

The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab CVD equipment area. The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within the following tool groups: CVD AMAT Centura 5200 (SACVD DXZ and HDP Ultima+) AMAT P5000 AMAT Producer Novellus Concept 2 STI Watkins Johnson 999 Rigaku XRF 3650 Edwards Abatement (Atlas TCS, TPU, and TCS) The tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems and demonstrate problem-solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The candidate will be required to understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals. The desired candidate may be required to complete documentation and train others. The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds. The candidate should be self-driven and capable of working independently for extended periods of time, focusing on quality and efficiency. The position requires working a compressed shifts with night shift available.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interface with other internal and external groups.
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).

  • Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other mechanical discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in Implant or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
