About The Position

The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Cleans/EPI equipment area. The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within the following tool groups: Cleans Semitool: SST-C-421-280; WSST 408A; SAT 2080S; STORM II; RCMS; Raider/Millennium (Millennial) TEL/FSI: Mercury MP (2nd generation); Zeta DNS: WS820-L Akrion: SCP 9400; GAMA Dainippon Screen: SS-80BW-AR Screen DNS: WS-802L; SS-80EX; SS-80BW-AR EPI ASM EPSILON E-2000 Reduced Pressure Single Wafer Epitaxial Reactors Helium & Hydrogen leak checkers Exhaust abatement: ATLAS, AirGard, EcoGuard Bio-rad FTIR ThermoFlex 5000 TCS Chiller Vacuum bag sealer Operation of associated metrology equipment. The tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems and demonstrate problem-solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The candidate will be required to understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals. The desired candidate may be required to complete documentation and train others. The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds. The position requires working a compressed shift with days shifts available.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of SPC.
  • Solid understanding of 5s.
  • Solid understanding of FDC systems.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interface with other internal and external groups.
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).
  • Physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment alarms.
  • Ability to read operational data.
  • Ability to create action plans as needed.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to sustain equipment with minimal direction.
  • Ability to use root-cause problem-solving techniques to solve complex problems on Semiconductor toolsets.

Nice To Haves

  • AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other mechanical discipline is preferred.
  • Experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
