About The Position
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Semi Vac Operator to join our Valued Clients team at a shutdown project in Alberta. This is a Contract position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. Requirements
- Valid tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid
- Valid CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification
- WHMIS (WMS) certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Previous experience operating semi-vac trucks in industrial or shutdown settings
Nice To Haves
- Experience working on oil and gas shutdowns or turnarounds
- Strong safety record and understanding of site compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Operate semi-vacuum trucks safely and efficiently in an industrial shutdown environment
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Complete assigned vacuum and fluid handling tasks in accordance with site procedures
- Follow all safety protocols, hazard assessments, and company policies
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with supervisors and team members
