About The Position

The Semi-Truck Driver will supply various materials to our worksites and plants. The Semi-Truck Driver is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility. Requirements

Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
Class A CDL.
Clean DMV record.
Basic maintenance skills.
Must follow all applicable DOT laws.
Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
Ability to reach below/at/above shoulders
Pushing/Pulling/Twisting/Bending
Sitting/Standing/Balancing
Operate hand and foot controls
Simple/Firm grasping/Pinching
Ability to lift/lower/carry over 50 pounds
Squatting/Stooping/Crouching/Kneeling/Crawling

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as required.
Complete pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed.
Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
Knowledge of properly securing loads.
Help set up and tear down job sites when moving locations (if needed).
Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns.
Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).
