About The Position

NFM’s warehouse is a fast-paced, team environment where employees load and unload product, assemble and inspect customer deliveries, stock product on the sales floor, build product displays, and perform reverse logistics. The tagging team receives product into inventory. As a Semi-Tractor Operator, you will handle tractors and trailers to support warehouse operations and help ensure products remain undamaged. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with Saturday and Sunday off. Pay is $20.14–$24.47 per hour, plus a $4 shift differential.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of semi-tractor/trailer experience.
• Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on warehouse business needs.
• Must meet and/or comply with applicable standards set forth in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Must meet hiring requirements documented in the DOT CDL Policy.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must complete pre-employment screening, including drug screening and motor vehicle and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Handle tractors and trailers safely and prevent product damage.
• Keep full and empty trailers segregated and prepare a daily listing of all full and empty trailers.
• Obtain receiving schedules from all warehouses.
• Open trailers to determine unloading sequence and look for purchase order numbers or packing lists.
• Move trailers at designated times.
• Check all trailers in the lot to ensure they are locked.
