About The Position
Talan is seeking a Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Java, C++, Linux, and Market Risk environments. This role focuses on supporting development activities, addressing vulnerabilities, debugging, and investigating issues within Java and C++ applications specifically related to Market Risk processes. The developer will work within Linux environments and utilize Git for source code management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Java and J2EE
- Minimum 2 years of experience with C++
- Basic Linux knowledge
- Experience debugging Java applications
- Experience debugging C++ applications
- Knowledge of Git
- Knowledge of Market Risk
- Experience with Java development and vulnerability remediation
- Ability to analyze and debug calculation engine traces and application errors
- English Level B2/C1
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Market Risk concepts and methodologies, including: AIR Sensitivities, Value at Risk (VaR), Stress Testing
Responsibilities
- Performing specific developments and addressing outstanding vulnerabilities using Java.
- Debugging engine traces in C++ when there are questions regarding calculations or when errors occur.
- Supporting minor developments and adjustments in C++.
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues in both Java and C++ environments.
- Working within Linux environments.
- Using Git for source code management.
- Working with Devin.
