About The Position

This position requires the operation of epi reactors, characterization equipment, and multiple software interfaces. The role involves completing corrective actions based on SPC monitoring processes and communicating events and responses within a small, coordinated group. The technician will also perform maintenance and troubleshooting according to specifications, and must be able to helium leak check epi reactors. The ability to operate multiple tools simultaneously and good multi-tasking skills are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in semiconductor fabrication and/or epitaxy process facilities.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with appropriate gowning and follow strict cleanliness protocols.
• Must be available to work night shifts (6 PM to 6 AM) every other Thursday, and every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Nice To Haves

• Experience and familiarity with compound semiconductor epitaxy equipment, processes, and characterization tools (including photoluminescence and x-ray diffraction).
• Experience with software-based tools and manufacturing databases.
