Semi-Local Tanker CDL-A Truck Driver | Pneumatic Fleet
About The Position
We are seeking a Semi-Local Tanker CDL-A Truck Driver for our Pneumatic Fleet. This position offers competitive weekly earnings, with an average of $1,200 – $1,600 per week, and an effective pay rate of approximately $0.81 per mile on an all-in basis. Pay components include mileage pay calculated by tons hauled, loaded miles, and pay factor, as well as load and unload pay for handling loading and monitoring processes. Per diem is included to maximize tax advantages, and there are opportunities for a safety bonus. Load pay will vary based on tonnage and distance hauled. Drivers will be home 4–5 nights per week, out only 2–3 nights per week, operating within the Southeast region. The role involves hauling dry bulk in a pneumatic trailer. While drivers will monitor unloading, the equipment handles the heavy lifting; drivers will set up and monitor the process. No previous pneumatic experience is required, as paid training is provided during orientation.
Requirements
- Minimum 25 years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 18 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Must pass physical and agility test during orientation
- Must reside in Atlanta/Marietta or immediate surrounding areas
