SEMI LOCAL CDL A Truck Driving Position
About The Position
This semi-local CDL A truck driving position offers an average weekly pay of $1,300, with top performers earning up to $2,000. Drivers can expect to be home 3-4 times a week, typically enjoying a 10-hour break every other day. The role involves touch freight and live unloads, with additional pay for full trailer unloads, completing 3+ loads per week, and backhauls. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in installments over 6 months. The training period includes a 1-week paid ride-along at $150/day. Drivers will average 1500 miles per week with 1-6 stops per trailer. The running area covers VA, NC, DC, PA, NJ, OH, WV, all within a 700-mile radius of the Front Royal, VA DC.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience
- Able to pass the hair follicle drug test
- Clean MVR
- No SAP
- Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
