About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Semi-Local CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to be home daily or weekly, depending on your proximity to our Topeka Distribution Center. You will be responsible for operating within Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, averaging 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week. The freight is primarily drop-and-hook with preloaded trailers, ensuring efficiency and minimizing downtime. Nights and weekends may be required to meet route demands. This is a W2 employment opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- Must reside within 50 miles of Topeka, KS.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL truck within the designated operating area (Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas).
- Drive an average of 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week.
- Handle mostly drop-and-hook freight and preloaded trailers.
- Perform occasional live load/unload on backhaul lanes.
- Adhere to schedules that may include nights and weekends.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
