SEMI LOCAL CDL-A DRIVER
About The Position
This semi-local driving position offers a dedicated lane running between California and Nevada, averaging 2,175 miles per week. The role requires a Tuesday to Saturday work week, with shifts starting between 22:00-23:00 for 10-12 hour days, or alternatively, shifts starting between 19:00-21:00 for 11-12 hour days. Drivers should be prepared for potential layovers during peak seasons, which will be accommodated with hotel/motel stays. Additionally, drivers must be able to chain tires as weather requires and may need to take alternate routes with forced layovers if Donner's Pass is closed.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- 3 months of verifiable and recent trailer driving experience
- Good employment record
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations in the last 3 years
- Drug-free status
- SAP candidates are not accepted
Responsibilities
