About The Position

This is a semi-local position operating throughout Georgia and Florida, hauling pre-loaded trailers from the Target distribution center in Midway, GA to Target stores. Freight is 95% drop & hook with 5% live unload. Backhauls are required. Reliable transportation to and from the account is mandatory. The truck must remain at the account during time off. The average annual pay is $80,000. The schedule is semi-local with a 34-hour reset on a consistent weekday. Drivers can expect approximately 3 nights/week in the truck, with start times between 1700-2200. Shift lengths are typically 7-14 hours, with drivers averaging around 2,500 miles per week. The equipment provided is an International Sleeper with assigned trucks, hauling 48' & 53' box trailers. Training is paid hourly at $20/hr. Stop pay is only provided for backhauls or unscheduled stops.

Requirements

Valid CDL A license in the state that you live.
At least 6 months of verifiable CDL-A tractor trailer experience.
Relatively clean driving record and personal background.
If a failed Drug/Alcohol Test occurred, must have 1 year of safe driving since completing an SAP program.

Responsibilities
