About The Position

Ascend Staffing is seeking an experienced, results-driven Selling Branch Manager to lead our Spirit Lake branch. If you have at least one year of management experience, strong sales instincts, and a passion for staffing and workforce solutions, we want to hear from you. As the Selling Branch Manager, you will be responsible for sales growth, client retention, branch performance, and talent fulfillment in the Spirit Lake, Iowa market. You will lead recruiting efforts, build and maintain client partnerships, and manage the daily operations of the branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and is motivated by measurable results.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of management or supervisory experience
  • Background in B2B sales, account management, or business development
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting targets and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital systems
  • Willingness to travel for client site visits and business development

Nice To Haves

  • Staffing industry experience (light industrial or similar)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Build new business through prospecting, networking, and outbound sales activity in the Spirit Lake market
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to drive retention and growth
  • Conduct client visits, performance reviews, and on-site relationship development
  • Provide staffing recommendations, proposals, and workforce solutions that align with client needs
  • Lead and mentor recruiters and support staff
  • Manage branch performance metrics, fill rates, and operational workflows
  • Ensure compliance with hiring, onboarding, and safety processes
  • Maintain a strong presence in the local business community
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting, screening, placement, and onboarding
  • Utilize ATS, CRM, and digital sourcing tools to build talent pipelines
  • Monitor open job orders to ensure timely and quality fulfillment
