About The Position

The Selling and Service Specialist (SSS) provides clerical support for both front and back of house operations in the Hermès boutique. The SSS is responsible for processing and ensuring the accuracy of all transactions (including receptions, CRM, SKUs, monetary payment, and client verification) and the administration support of after sales services when needed. Partners with management team on POS decisions. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Assist top volume driving Sales Specialists and Selling Supervisors by organizing gifting initiatives and experiences for clients and referrals, in tandem with Client Development Relationship Management team and Concierge team.
  • Responsible for supporting assigned Sales Specialists and Selling Supervisors and Maison Madison overall in reaching monthly sales goals.
  • Prepare for in-store appointments with charge send and item pulls, set up fitting rooms in tandem with Selling Management and Concierge, ensure accurate processing of sales at POS, and post-sale follow up with shipping for timely client deliveries.
  • Communicate, engage and clientele effectively for in-store animation and events via company digital devices and note cards.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team assist in planning client appointments.
  • Plan and organize appointment scheduling into company calendar system and support as a host to each appointment in a personalized manner dedicated to the specific client.
  • Support with post-sale follow up of alterations, repairs, and personalization.
  • Serve as an Hermès Ambassador in representing gracious client service to clients, and support to the assigned Sales professional.
  • Assist with the fulfilment of POS activities such as charge sends and transfer requests.
  • Accurately record point of sales transaction at the register: processing sales, sends, repairs, assist in preparation of opening and closing procedures with management.
  • Consistently provide high levels of service to our clients within the Hermès standard of service: prompt and friendly greeting, offer to assist and answer questions, and assistance with wrapping and packaging at point of sale.
  • Support of sales team with selling process: hanging merchandising, returning merchandise to floor, retrieving stock, physical preparation of stock room.
  • Provide assistance as needed in stockroom operations: support all areas of merchandise flow including replenishment, physical EAS tagging, ticketing etc. Provides assistance as needed in physical inventory preparation.
  • Recording accurate and detailed CRM files that provide meaningful detail of purchase history and sales analysis.
  • Answering phones in a timely manner and exhibiting friendly and appropriate customer service.
