Assist individuals with brain injury, intellectual disabilities, and other neurological disabilities in achieving a challenging, stimulating, dignified life by serving as an advocate and liaison for and on behalf of individuals’ rights and benefits. This role involves providing supervision, training, and assistance in accomplishing activities of daily living, including self-care, social, recreation, community, and domestic skills for a 42-year-old woman. The individual enjoys watching sports and seeks a mentor to help her achieve more independence. She is also interested in joining the YMCA for health improvement.
