About The Position
Our dedicated front line staff are out in the field making it happen on a daily basis. Our administration staff play a key role in supporting our frontline staff by giving them the resources and tools they need to be successful. Whether Finance, HR, IT, or Quality Assurance is your game, you’ll be supporting our agency to be able to provide the best programs and services possible. You’ll get to work in a supportive, creative culture with many benefits. Self-Directed workers are identified by the individual receiving services. Duties are at the discretion of the person receiving the services. In this role you will: Work with individuals by teaching daily living skills, as well as, other skills identified in the consumer’s goal plan. Complete extensive documentation requiring the ability to articulate and document the consumer’s progress. Direct care work that involves skill building services for the continued development and teaching of daily living skills.
Requirements
- Ability to advocate for the needs of others.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to teach life skills and document daily progress.
- Flexibility to support consumers and meet their needs.
- Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time.
- Able to work in open space floor plan.
- Must be capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community.
- Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet.
- Must be able to move in tight spaces.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with related populations, i.e. Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Experienced Direct Care Workers to form relationships with our clients, utilizing shared interests to promote and facilitate community engagement and integration.
Responsibilities
- Work with individuals by teaching daily living skills, as well as, other skills identified in the consumer’s goal plan.

- Attend treatment meetings, and mandatory agency trainings.
- Perform lifting and other one-on-one functions for specific clients.
