About The Position

National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is hiring a Warehouse Selector in Burleson, Texas, to support distribution operations serving Dunkin’ restaurants. The Selector uses powered material-handling equipment and wearable computers with ring scanners to pick, label, palletize, and stage custom orders for outbound delivery. Work takes place in dry, refrigerated, and freezer warehouse environments. The position is scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 12 p.m. until work is complete; Fridays may be required as needed, and Saturdays are off. NDCP is a supply chain management company serving more than 10,000 Dunkin’ locations across the United States. The Selector is expected to work safely, meet selection-rate standards, follow Good Distribution Practices, maintain equipment and the warehouse, and support other warehouse functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work in dry, cooler (34°F), and freezer (-10°F) warehouse environments.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to operate a shrink-wrap machine and manually shrink-wrap products.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and high lifts.
• Ability to work flexible days and hours; schedules may include weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Desire and ability to work collaboratively.
• Sufficient English comprehension and communication skills to safely perform essential duties, use voice-directed warehouse technology, understand work and safety instructions, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers about operational and safety matters.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to select orders safely and accurately across warehouse temperature zones.
• Stack products on pallets according to operating procedures.
• Stage pallets for loading at the assigned outbound dock.
• Maintain established selection rates for the applicable temperature zones.
• Secure loads by shrink-wrapping products manually or with a shrink-wrap machine.
• Perform daily safety inspections of material-handling equipment.
• Safely operate equipment used to perform job duties.
• Use proper and safe lifting techniques.
• Maintain company standards for safety, attendance, and conduct.
• Immediately inform a supervisor of unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Attend required company meetings.
• Follow NDCP’s Good Distribution Practices.
• Help maintain warehouse organization and general housekeeping.
• Cross-train in other functions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
