About The Position

Assist the Project Executive in management of the project through oversight of a segment of the 30- mile Project. Liaise with owner representatives, project staff, subcontractors and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities within the assigned Project segment. Fully understand and manage construction of assigned segment in accordance with all plans and specifications Monitor/control construction of assigned segment through administrative direction of on-site Superintendents to ensure project is built safely, meeting all quality standards, on schedule and within budget Identify potential construction issues, evaluate and implement best value solutions to facilitate uninterrupted construction Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Represent company in project meetings, assist in strategy meetings, etc. Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with owner.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or similar
• 5 or more years of experience as a Project Manager on heavy civil projects
• 15 or more years of construction experience
• Previous experience in construction of rail projects
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
