About The Position

TechInsights is seeking a Segment Leader to drive profitable growth and revenue performance within one or more customer segments. This role combines commercial ownership with product strategy, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to define product offerings, drive revenue growth, and influence product roadmaps and content strategies. The Segment Leader owns the commercial performance of their segment, working closely with sales, customers, and prospects to drive active user engagement, expand existing accounts, win new logos, and protect renewals. A key part of this role is leading initiatives to convert nurtured contacts into revenue opportunities. Equally important is the Segment Leader's role in product strategy. This includes defining which channels are combined into products, providing input into product requirements and roadmaps, and helping shape the content strategies executed by product teams.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, product management, or segment/customer success management, with demonstrated commercial success
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Information Services, Research and Analysis, SaaS, or a similar B2B technology industry.
  • Experience with material suppliers in the semiconductor industry, either having worked for, sold to, or procured materials from materials companies within the semiconductor industry.
  • Understanding of how materials are used in device manufacturing.
  • 4-year college degree or greater
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding commercial targets in a customer-facing role
  • Experience working directly with customers and sales teams in complex, enterprise sales environments
  • Demonstrated success in product management, product strategy, or product marketing roles
  • Experience in demand generation, lead nurturing, or marketing campaign development
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy
  • Strong consideration given to backgrounds in semiconductor design, manufacturing, and supply chain management; semiconductor materials and chemicals (wafers, gases, precursors, CMP slurries, photoresists) planning, R&D, or supply chain management; product manufacturing planning, design, and supply chain management; or semiconductor manufacturing equipment marketing, planning, and design
  • Deep understanding of technical content and analysis in semiconductor or related industries
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and influence others across functions
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, product strategy, and revenue objectives
  • Ability to build deep, trusted relationships with customers at multiple levels within organizations
  • Strategic thinker who can translate broad goals into actionable plans while maintaining execution excellence

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue targets, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews; develop and execute account expansion strategies (upsell/cross-sell) and pricing strategies to maximize customer lifetime value
  • Partner with Marketing to generate nurtured contacts and drive conversion through the marketing journey; work with BDRs to improve contact-to-meeting conversion rates
  • Develop detailed growth plans for key accounts (5 to 7 strategic accounts) using buying center analysis; identify and prioritize new logo targets at the top of the SAM with high-fit campaigns
  • Drive active user adoption by prioritizing target personas and creating high-value use cases; convert nurtured contacts into active users through targeted enablement
  • Proactively identify and mitigate renewal risks through usage monitoring and customer engagement; coordinate with Sales, Customer Engagement, and Product teams to maintain a 95%+ renewal rate
  • Define which channels are included in which products for the segment; create product bundles and offers that maximize customer value and revenue potential; determine pricing and packaging strategies
  • Provide customer insights and requirements to inform product roadmaps; champion voice of customer and prioritize enhancements based on revenue impact, customer demand, and strategic value
  • Work with product teams to shape content strategies that drive engagement; identify content gaps and define priorities based on customer needs and revenue potential
  • Develop product positioning and differentiation strategies; make recommendations on product portfolio optimization (launch, sunset, consolidation decisions)
  • Create case studies, segment-specific messaging, and go-to-market materials; design Product Offer Activation programs; provide sales enablement tools and training
