The Great Basin Institute, in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS), is recruiting three (3) Seed Collection Crew Members to conduct seed collecting and ecological restoration activities throughout the Columbia Plateau Ecoregion on Department of Interior (DOI) lands and some coordinating areas including Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) lands. This seasonal, full-time position (40 hours/week) is for 18 weeks, starting June 1st, 2026, and is based near Wenatchee, WA. The role involves extensive field work, including scouting, monitoring, and collecting native plant seeds, processing and shipping them, and recording data. Crew members will also assist with conservation crew work, species surveys, and arid land restoration projects, and participate in various training programs.
