About The Position

The Part-Time Security is responsible for performing periodic checks of all buildings and grounds to make sure they are secured. Confirm that heat and other mechanical systems are operating. Patrol Cary Institute roadways during assigned hours. Approach visitors as necessary to assure compliance with access policy .Assist with events as needed. Complete written Security report for each shift worked.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid current NYS Security License
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in Security
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a safety-conscious environment.
• National parks or wildlife experience a plus
