About The Position

Friendship Village is hiring a 3rd Shift Security Worker to provide overnight security and perform general maintenance and upkeep on buildings and apartments for our senior residents. Candidates must be dedicated, hardworking individuals with an eye for detail. Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy serving others.

Requirements

• 18 years of age
• The ability to lift 75 pounds
• Valid Driver's License
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal back ground checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Preventing loss and damage
• Reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures
• Restraining trespassers
• Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
• Inspecting buildings, equipment and access points
• Protect company assets from theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
• Perform routine maintenance as issues arise
• Use a company bus or van to transport residents as needed
