Requirements

• One (1) year supervisory experience with Hospital Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation, or proven leadership ability in a Security position.
• Two (2) years college may be substituted for experience.
• Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of established safety / security best practices.
• Demonstrated computer skills operating in a windows environment and proficient in the use of MS Office.

Nice To Haves

• Prior training instructor experience.
• Certified as a Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) Instructor.
• DECON Instruction Certified

Responsibilities

• Responsible for initial and on‑going training and certification of hospital Security Officers and Supervisors at Northside Hospital as well as de-escalation training throughout the hospital.
