About The Position

RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Security Technician in Jackson starting in as soon as possible. This role involves installing access control systems and devices such as mag locks, card readers, door strikes, and REXs, as well as monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with Lenel or Genetec and will be working in commercial and new construction environments. Responsibilities include installing cameras, and installing and terminating cat5/cat6 cables, as well as reading blueprints. There may be opportunities for overtime.

Requirements

• Basic cabling hand tools
• Hardhat
• High-vis vest
• Gloves
• Steel toed boots
• Goggles

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Lenel or Genetec
