About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Technician to join our HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) team. In this role, you will help protect our employees, facilities, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This position is ideal for someone who is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to providing excellent service.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
0 years of security or related experience, 2 years preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain Unarmed Security Guard certification (within 3 months of hire)
Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification (within 3 months of hire)

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in corporate or facility security

Responsibilities

Conduct routine internal and external patrols of buildings and grounds
Monitor access points and verify credentials for restricted areas
Identify and report suspicious activity or security concerns
Respond promptly to emergencies and assist employees and visitors
De-escalate situations and ensure a safe environment
Complete detailed shift reports and maintain accurate logs
Escort employees to vehicles upon request
Support HSE and Facilities teams with various tasks
Assist with site needs such as walkway clearing during inclement weather
