About The Position

Superior Communication Services is hiring a Security Systems Project Manager. This role is suitable for individuals transitioning from field work or those already managing projects hands-on, with a willingness to learn and receive management training. The Project Manager will support Senior Project Managers and actively participate in day-to-day field operations, coordinating teams and ensuring the smooth progression of commercial security projects.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on commercial low-voltage security experience.
1-2+ years in a Lead Tech, Foreman, or Supervisory role.
Deep knowledge of enterprise Access Control (controllers, strikes, maglocks) and IP CCTV.
Experience with back-end integration/programming of platforms like Avigilon, Lenel, or Genetec.
Ability to read construction plans, risers, and hardware schedules.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Verkada, Genetec, or Axis.
Certifications: BICSI, NICET, or OSHA 30.
Experience with AutoCAD or Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

Support and guide security technicians in the field, fostering their growth into strong Foremen and site leads.
Track schedules, budgets, and on-site progress to ensure commercial security projects move forward.
Oversee Access Control and CCTV installations from rough-in through programming, testing, and closeout.
Collaborate with Senior PMs, GCs, and field teams to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.
